How to order an original artwork?

To inquire about or order an already created artwork, you can click on the “more info” link of the artwork image that interests you. This will take you to a detailed view with the necessary information about availability and framing. Then, you simply need to follow the “CONTACT THE ARTIST ABOUT THIS ARTWORK” link, as shown in this example, to fill out and submit the contact form. The cost of a painting varies but is certainly open to discussion. It depends on the subject’s complexity, size, and the medium used (pastels or charcoal). If you wish, I can professionally frame the artwork at no additional cost. For more information on framing and delivery options, please see the details below.

Ordering personalized portraits or figures:

To order a portrait, you need to send me one or several photos of the person or animal you want me to paint. These photos should be of high resolution to enable realistic and detailed work. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to discuss and assist you in choosing the most suitable photo, and I can also suggest some modifications if needed. For me, personal exchanges and conversations at this stage are crucial. The more I know about the subject to be represented, the better I can bring out its character and unique identity.

Once you have decided on the dimensions and selected the photo I can work with, we will agree on a deposit and payment terms. After that, I will begin working on your desired portrait using a well-developed process and high-quality professional materials (pastels and supports). If you wish, I can keep you informed of the progress by sending photos of the main intermediate stages. The photo of the final version of the completed portrait will be submitted to you for final approval.

Framing and delivery options:

The final artwork will be well protected in packaging suitable for an artwork. Typically, I don’t use fixatives at the final stage as they tend to diminish the freshness and colors of the finished artwork. However, by protecting it with crystal paper and sealing it between two foam board panels before packaging it in a cardboard box, I can ensure better security during the transportation and delivery phase.

If you wish, I can personally offer you framing at no additional cost. You just need to propose your preferences for the frame and mat colors, and I always use a double mat to add depth to the artwork and ensure optimal protection.
As for the delivery of the final artwork, it remains flexible and depends on your choice. Generally, three options are evident:

  1. If you are in the vicinity of Geneva, you can pick it up yourself or have someone do it on your behalf.
  2. The shipment can be done through Swiss Post by registered mail with a signature upon receipt (including international scale).
  3. Alternatively, you can choose the logistics and transportation operator that suits you best.
